For the internetdating-compay D-Date Oqapi developed the D-meeten website, a website focused on the addition and finding of d-meeten activities in the neighbourhood or near future. The complete website is built using WebGUI and gives a good overview of what a WebGUI website can offer you.
On the homepage, the first thing that comes in view is a Google map with the d-meeten activities of the near future. On the map can be seen where these activities will take place. Oqapi developed custom software to link the activities to the Google map. Clicking on the markers of the Google map makes it possible to view the details of the activities.
Next to the Google map a form can be found to add new activities. The location of the activity in this form is linked to the Google map, which eases the determination of the location. This form is custom made by expanding an existing application of WebGUI.
To navigate through the website the red tabs in the upper part of the page can be used. For this webpage the drop-down menus are chosen, however there is a large variety of navigation tabs and menus. All these navigation items can be adjusted your specific website and your website's style.
Next to the open part of the website, which can be viewed by everyone, there is a protected part as can be seen by the possibility to login in the upper right corner of the page. Employees of D-Date can login to enter the protected part of the website to perform several activities. For example the text of the website can be changed. New activities can be checked or a category can be added or removed. This way the website is kept up to date.
This website is now replaced by the new D-Date website, which was developed by Oqapi as well.
